Matthew Calvin Lim

Matthew Calvin Lim, suddenly passed away on April 26, 2025 in Sacramento, California, at the age of 32. He was born on October 6, 1992 in Sacramento California. Matthew attended John F. Kennedy High School and later attended California State University Sacramento earning his BA in English and working as a teacher.

Matthew was the beloved son of Calvin Lim and Stacey Wu. He is survived by his loving father Calvin Lim, mother Stacey Wu and his stepmother Michelle Lim; siblings Aaron (Amy) Lim, Derick (Tina) Lim, Jeana Lim, Emily Lim; niece’s Mila Lim and Charlotte Lim.

A gentle soul with a kind heart, Matthew brought light, laughter, and love to everyone lucky enough to know him. He was a devoted son, a treasured uncle, and a cherished friend. His caring nature, warm smile, and quiet strength touched all our lives. Matthew had a special fondness for cats, which seemed to sense his gentle spirit, and he never passed up the chance to enjoy a delicious meal—especially when shared with loved ones.

We will miss him dearly every day, but we will hold onto the beautiful memories he gave us.
