Anna Quong

Anna Quong, sadly, passed away at the age of 91 in Sacramento, CA on January 2, 2023. Anna was born in Dixon, CA on August 4, 1931. She moved back to China three years later and spent her early life there with her mother.

Anna made the most of a hard life there, making many lifelong friends along the way.

At the age of nineteen, she moved back to America, met and married her husband, Paul Quong, in 1957 in Sacramento, where they began their new life together. It was there that, together with Paul, she started a family, which she loved dearly.

Anna worked hard, loved life, and made friends wherever she went. She loved to cook, take care of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. Friends often mentioned Anna’s signature warm smile and bright personality. She always sought out ways to help and support her friends.

Anna leaves behind her loving husband, Paul Quong, her daughter, Ruby (Stanley) Sato, her sons, Kent (Leslie Anderson) Quong and Nelson Quong, granddaughters, Melissa (Shad) Begley, Alyson Sato, and Kirsten Quong, and great-granddaughter, Harper Begley.
