Colleen Haas

The family of Colleen Haas is sad to announce the passing of their beloved sister and aunt on Sunday, March 13th, at her home in Sacramento. Colleen is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Haas. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Fry of Sacramento, her niece Pamela Galvez, nephews William Millsap and Mark Fry, and her great niece and nephews.

Colleen was born on January 4th, 1928 in Sunnyside, Utah and attended schools in Utah and later graduated High School in Thermopolis, Wyoming. Bob and Colleen celebrated 55 years of blissful marriage. Bob was a retired US Navy Chief Petty Officer, Submarine Service, serving in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, and was at one time stationed in Caracas Venezuela. As such, the two were able to travel the world and continued to do so even after his retirement as a financial adviser with New England Life. Colleen was an accomplished hostess, arts and crafts enthusiast, and singer. Her family has wonderful memories of her strumming her ukulele and singing duets with her sister, Patricia. Colleen will be dearly missed always. Her family will celebrate Colleen’s life at a private graveside memorial service, may she rest in peace.
