In Loving Memory of David Hong Fong

On December 7, 2025, David Hong Fong passed away at the age of 90. Born in China, he immigrated to the United States at 18. In 1970, he and his wife, So Fun, settled in Auburn, where together they owned and operated Fong’s Café for 12 years, a beloved local establishment.

David was a devoted husband and father, raising four children with his wife. He was preceded in death by his wife, So Fun; his daughter, Cindy; and his son, Curtis. He is survived by his sons Dennis (Sarah) and Chris (Irene); his daughter‑in‑law Elena, widow of Curtis; five grandchildren; and four great‑grandchildren.

His legacy of hard work, family devotion, and community spirit will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.
