Frederick M. Fazil Jr.
Frederick M. Fazil, Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, peacefully passed away on June 11, 2025, in Sacramento, California. Born on January 12, 1954, in Sacramento, Fred was a lifelong resident of the community he cherished.
Fred was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Fazil, Sr., his mother Arlene, his sister Chari, and his niece Savara. He is lovingly survived by his wife of over five decades, Gail; their son, Kalif, and daughter-in-law, Sarah; grandchildren, Kalif Jr. and Gionna; his sisters Sandy and Gina; and his brother Terry. He also leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends who held him dear.
Fred began his career at Kaiser Permanente before moving on to K Designers. His entrepreneurial spirit ultimately led him to become the owner of a successful pet grooming business. At the age of 25, Fred embraced his Christian faith, dedicating his life to service. He was an active member of New Life Tabernacle Church in Sacramento, where he served as a trustee and Sunday school teacher.
An avid outdoorsman, Fred loved camping, hunting, fishing, and diving. His passion for nature reflected the strength and kindness he brought to all aspects of his life.
Fred was a compassionate and loving man, a source of strength for his family, and a beacon of hope in his community. His faith, warmth, and devotion left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Though he will be deeply missed, his family takes comfort knowing he has found eternal peace.
