Jack Masumi Akabori

Jack Masumi Akabori was born in Longview, WA on May 08, 1935. He was
raised in Longview, WA by his Parents Keuchi and Ayako Akabori. During
World War II they were incarcerated at Tule Lake internment camp. After
the war they moved to the Woodland/Davis area. Jack graduated from High
school in the Davis area. After High School, he joined the U.S. Army and
served in the Korean War.
Jack was passionate about his General Contractor business and has left
his mark of building custom homes, churches, monuments, offices,
restaurants and other businesses throughout the Sacramento and
surrounding areas.

Jack is survived by his two sons Randy and Kurt, daughter-in-law Ling and
two Grandchildren Alycia and Andrew “Ko”.

Services will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 2:00pm at the
Sacramento Buddhist Church, 2401 Riverside Blvd., Sacramento, CA
