Josephine Gutierrez-Banuelos

Josephine Gutierrez-Banuelos went home to Jesus on November 26, 2022 at age 90.

Josephine was born to Juan and Soledad Gutierrez on February 27, 1932 in Sacramento, California. As a child, she loved playing in her big yard where she lived at 210 W St before the freeway.

Josephine met her husband, Luis in Sacramento, California in the early 1950’s. They married on May 12th, 1955 and went on to have one child, Alice Banuelos.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Josephine also loved crafting, cooking and painting. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Josephine joins her mother and father Juan and Soledad, loving husband Luis and her brothers Alphonso and Tomas Gutierrez in Heaven. She is survived by her daughter Alice, cousin Guadalupe Gutierrez and many nieces and nephews.
