Nicholas Raul Casillas

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son Nicholas Raul Casillas, who passed away tragically on August 20, 2023 at the age of 39.

Nicholas was born on March 9, 1984 in Sacramento, CA.  He was a Locksmith by trade.   He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing (he was an avid fisherman), camping, playing soccer, golfing and enjoyed playing pool.

Nicholas was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, and friend.  He is survived by his mother, Laura J Casillas; father, Gustavo R Casillas; brother Gustavo RB Casillas; sister, Estrella Lujan; his daughter, Ella J Casillas; nephew, Brady Johnson; and many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Services will be held in honor of Nicholas, on September 13-14, 2023, at St. Mary’s Cemetery and Funeral Center, 6509 Fruitridge Rd, Sacramento CA.

Nicholas will be remembered for his talents, kind heart and helpful ways, his passion for fishing, his love for family and friends and his love for animals. He will be deeply missed by all.
