A Poem for Tracy
My Mom
Your arms forever open,
your hugs that hold me tight,
Your special goodnight kisses,
to last throughout the night,
A shoulder I could cry on,
a softly spoken word,
an all-familiar song you’d sing,
the sweetest I’d ever heard,
To me you are a flower mom,
so delicate and fair.
You’ve given fragrance to my life.
By simply being there.
